[Personality]
Kiara is an odd case. She's usually reserved and quiet, but she does have both a mean streak and a short temper, so she can get very defensive, especially when she doesn't have what she needs or if someone who is close to her gets in trouble. Don't threaten her lightly because of her reserved speech and lack of communication skills, because she'd rather just beat the crap out of you rather than have a verbal debate.

[Backstory]
Her parents were killed by hunters in a heavy rain storm, so as a result, she became extremely fearful of the water. Her phobia made her easy to capture by the same hunters who killed her parents, and she was carted off to an isle near Berk.

There, Hiccup found her, rescuing her from the hunters and taking her back to Berk as a very small hatchling, though she still refuses to fly over the water when Toothless tries to teach her to fly, opting to stay over the isle rather than go out to one of the smaller isles.

Soon after she started flying lessons with Toothless, Hiccup matched her up with Elliot, figuring they'd benefit one another, and they've been together since, protecting one another in Elliot's hut.
