[Full Name] Adelaide Jorgenson
[Nicknames] Adie, Red Head
[Age] 12
[Gender/Pronouns] Female; She/Her
[Affiliation] Hooligan Tribe
[Rank/Occupation] Healer-in-training/Rider
[Alignment] Chaotic Good
[Personality]Adelaide is very much like most of the Jorgenson clan. She is very stubborn and hard headed, being an individual who will not back down from an argument, challenge, or what she believes in, even to the point many describe as having that thick skull known by her clan. She is unlikely to be persuaded from a decision and will steel herself to those who are just as bad as she can be, willing to go to great lengths to prove her point and sometimes even getting herself into trouble as a result. She is very vocal, argumentative, and crude in how she speaks, never being one to hide her thoughts and is more than willing to give her word in, no matter how small. Adelaide's attitude almost comes off as hostile and unwelcoming, sharing such a demeanor and expression with her family and can be rather unsettling for those who don't really know her, and sometimes those who do.
But, Adelaide is better described as rough around the edges rather than a complete jerk. She is not as cruel or cold as her brother and father, but rather expresses a bit more of a kinder, understanding side seen more with their mother. Adelaide has lived with high standards and expectations from her father and feels this attitude has gotten the Jorgensons nothing but negativity, something she desires to change. She may be short with people and somewhat cold, but she shows a bit more empathy and attempts to understand others. She is more than willing to give a hand without arguing with everything and holds no desire for utter glory and leadership she has seen in Snotlout. Rather, she desires to help others and is always showing a fiery, determined drive to show she can do her part and pull her weight, whether with combat, training, healing, or every day life, she gives her all into every task and simply takes things in stride, whether negative or positive.
Yet, Adelaide is still fiery and free spirited. She loves a good challenge and exchanging trash talk, although she is more on the playful, friendly banter than her brother's obnoxious boasts. She only boasts when she feels her, and often Seaspray, work to their hardest and know they did well. She doesn't like to remain idle and takes every chance to do something, especially exploring or gathering herbs for different purposes and expresses a rather energetic side that her dragon Seaspray is capable of matching. The two love to have a little walk on the wild side but know when to be dutiful when it comes down to it. Because one thing she does share with her family is a protectiveness and deep sense of duty to Berk, much less sharing the fierce and intelligent sides that can shine through.
[Backstory]Adelaide is the younger sister of Snotlout Jorgenson and youngest child of Spitelout and his wife. But, she could be considered the black sheep of her family, having long since stood out from the rest of the Viking children to some degree. She was raising like many of the Jorgenson family, being concerned towards being the greatest Viking family in terms of weaponry and combat skill. From a young age, Adelaide had it drilled into her head that she must be one of the best among her friends and fellow vikings, especially those closer to her age such as Gustav.
Though no slouch in combat practice, Adelaide was not particularly fond of entirely devoting her life to fighting dragons and other Viking clans for the rest of her life. This has more often than not put her at odds with her family, more so her father who seems concerned for nothing beyond perfection from his children. This has caused some resentment and animosity towards her father within Adelaide, who has spent much of her life purposely holding back or doing average in training since she was little.
Rather, Adelaide has had her eyes set on becoming a healer like Gothi. At first, she never told her father that she sought Gothi's permission to become an apprentice under her at the age of ten, which the older woman did not seem to mind. Much to her excitement, Adelaide secretly began learning to do just that, secretly studying herbs, remedies, and ailments in between her combat and hunting practice. But her absences began to become noticed by others and Adelaide would confide into her closest friend, Gustav, a year later of what she had been doing and he was at the time the only one among their friends or the young Vikings in general who was aware of what she was doing.
It wasn't until peace was made with the dragons that Adelaide came out with her secret, finding satisfaction in seeing the shock in her family's faces. What was more, Adelaide quickly found herself becoming bonded to a newly discovered dragon named the Prickleboggle, which was found to have healing properties from its icy blasts and causing Adelaide to choose it as one of her dragons to help in healing and helping others.
[Name] Cinnamon
[Class] Sharp Class
[Species] Prickleboggle (Large sized variant, roughly as long as a Hobblegrunt)
[Temperment]Cinnamon is like most Prickleboggles. She is a very compassionate and caring dragon, dedicating herself to helping those injured and doing what she can for their injures. She is very calm and collected, never allowing a situation to stress herself out otherwise she risks agitating an injury rather than healing it. But, she is no different from her rider in having a temper and being quite firm and stubborn when she has to be, if almost coming off as blunt and rough in her own way. She is also incredibly protective and deeply loyal, willing to go right into danger to help the injured.
[Backstory]Where Cinnamon came from is a mystery, other than that she came from another part of the Archipelago. She is one of the newer species of dragons that has been discovered recently and her capabilities to heal quickly caught interest. In particular, Adelaide Jorgenson was intrigued by these abilities and sought help from Hiccup and the older Vikings with dragons of their own to help her in learning to gain the trust of this dragon and form a bond. With some effort, the two did build a relationship after Adelaide showed she meant the wild dragon no harm and simply wanted to be friends.
Four months later, the two have began working side by side with Cinnamon learning some hand gestures and basic commands.
