Together we Map the World is a canon and OC forum that takes place directly after the first film left off, behaving as if the series and second film after never happened. With a wealth of locations, dragons, and characters to choose from, the possibilities are endless. What the tides of storytelling will do with these building blocks is up to you. How far will you go?
[Personality] It is difficult to say anything positive when it comes to someone such as Alyth, but she is not devoid of some seemingly good qualities. For one, Alyth is a hard working young Viking in everything she does, preferring to go all out and holding nothing back. She is very determined and prideful, carrying herself with a sense of grace and dignity, as if she were a woman of power and royalty. Very rarely does Alyth express anything beyond her dark nature, but the few that she becomes close to discover that she can be incredibly loyal and protective, but this is quite rare to see.
Alyth however thrives more in her negative personality traits. She is a woman who is seductive and coy, someone who likes to play with the emotions of others and manipulate people or other beings. She holds a deep love of power and control, usually preferring to do her own thing rather than listen to authority. Alyth will be harsh, cruel, and blunt, holding nothing back in what she thinks and speaking her mind despite the repercussions that could follow. Alyth best falls on the power hungry, maniac type in general.
As said above, Alyth has more negative than positive aspects to her. She is a young woman driven by a desire to make her own place in the world, especially if it involves finding herself high in someone’s hierarchy. She is a cruel, remorseless woman who loves power and holds herself to high standards in everything she does, even the most minor of things. But, she is also quite independent and stubborn, full of sass and sarcasm that can make some surprised when she breaks into her occasional psychotic episodes. She loves playing up different roles and seems to radiate with confidence, making her both dangerous and someone best not trusted.
[Backstory] Alyth is the illegitimate daughter of Drago Bludvist. Her mother was once a baker and warrior from the Outcasts, having been born and raised her since the fall out with Berk. Like her fellow Outcasts, she was violent and bloodthirsty, not minding in causing problems for their long-time rivals and others in the area. But, she eventually caught word of a growing ring of dragon hunters and trappers, even an army forming somewhere in the Archipelago that drew her interest far more than the minimal goals of her people.
Later one night, the young Viking slipped away from her village, and left in search of Drago's army, eventually coming across Drago and his warriors and trappers a year later. She worked her way to his inner circle and at one point shared a night of intimacy with the psychotic "Dragon Conqueror". But, some months later, the woman discovered she was pregnant. Though she was loyal to Drago she was worried about the repercussions of carrying his child and fled from his ranks despite knowing the consequences. This led her to arriving to Berk, seeking asylum with the cover story she had left the Outcasts due to no longer believing in their ways.
Luckily, the people of Berk were more forgiving than some and this is where Alyth would be born and raised her whole life. Her mother running a bakery where Alyth has helped while learning to be a warrior, specializing in smaller weapons such as daggers and an intricately decorated bullhook made of dragon bone. Like the rest of the youths of Berk, before Hiccup changed the hearts and minds of its people, she began training to someday become the next generation of dragon slayers. She partook in fights and was always at the training camps whenever they were held. As a result, Alyth grew up with the rest of the Hooligans, for a time oblivious to her origins until she turned twelve.
That day, her mother told her of her father, who he was, what he did, and what his legacy could hold for the rest of the Archipelago and beyond if it went well. Awed by these stories, Alyth became more determined and aggressive in her training until the day Hiccup changed everything with Toothless. At first, Alyth was against the idea of taming and becoming bonded to a dragon after the defeat of the Red Death. But, after being introduced to an adolescent Moldruffle, a new species of dragon recently discovered, Alyth changed her mind and sees this as a way to make her own legacy while following Drago's footsteps.
[Name] Freyja [Class] Stoker [Species] Moldruffle
[Temperment] Compared to Alyth, Freyja is far more easy-going and kind hearted, almost to the point of being opposite of Alyth. She is always curious about the world and likes to investigate things that catch her interest, showing a great bit of enthusiasm and optimism that seems to balance Alyth's more negative and aggressive manner. Yet, she is also highly energetic like her rider and just as easily able to flip a switch of being protective, aggressive, and cautious. But, she is also willing to be a risk taker and isn't afraid to get her claws dirty, even if that means being intimidating and harsh.
[Backstory] Freyja is one of the newer dragon species discovered recently, having arrived to Berk during a migration shortly before the defeat of the Red Death. When things had become less hostile in the village, she was one of the many who began flying and living around Berk until she was chosen as a potential dragon to be bonded to a human due to her easy-going, curious nature. As it so happens, she was the perfect dragon to draw Alyth, previously skeptical of such a partnership, to change her mind. The past five months, the two have thus slowly began to form a bond.
