[Personality]
Overall, Heather is a fairly complicated individual. On one side, Heather can be quite a compassionate, caring young woman who is very much like the rest of the Hooligan group. She shows a great deal of caring and kindness towards her friends and those she comes to trust, viewing them as something of the family she never had and is willing to do anything for them. She is one of those who will be the kind to lend a hand if she can, doing minor things or going to great lengths to make use of her cunning and skills to handle something of a greater scale. She will lend her ear and is more than willing to talk with someone if they need to vent or just work something out. Sometimes, Heather is also willing to give some advice if she can offer it.

Though, despite Heather having a heart of gold she does have a rougher side that she will show towards newer individuals. Truth be told, she can be rather sly and weary when times call for it. She is most often cold and detached in the presence of those she has not grown some attachment to, coming off as rude, blunt, and somewhat harsh in her tones to the point she can be off-putting and downright cold. She is not so quick to trust but Heather has also had a past of being manipulative to those around her. She will lie and use others when it is necessary, even at the cost of causing serious emotional harm and breaking bonds she may have forged over time. This is a habit she has grown out of a form of survival and defense, something she has not completely given up and can be described as something of a two-faced person, being kind one moment but completely ruthless the next.

Her emotions are likewise sometimes unstable, having faced much loss in her life and harsh realizations in her life that has made her somewhat unstable and prone to anger and rage. These have shown when sometimes showing a more violent, twisted side that can be unsettling more than her usual detached persona. Though Heather likes a good challenge and does admittedly enjoy some violence, when in an angered or upset state, this is made worse by the insanity she falls into, which will turn her more sadistic and violent prone than normal, something of which she is afraid of and feels a deep guilt when she does hurt others with her deceit.

After so long in traveling across the Archipelago, Heather does desire to find where she belongs in the world. She is use to being alone and being independent, but a life of loneliness has taken its toll. As a result, she has recently turned her sights to attempt to change her ways, if she can.

[Backstory]
Heather was originally the daughter of Stoick the Vast and his wife Valka, and the younger sister of Hiccup Haddock. However, she has never been aware of this as during a raid by a band of mercenaries on Berk allowed them to take the youngest Haddock when she was a year old, the second disappearance following Valka's not long before. In all the chaos, they easily slipped out, intending to bring the then young Heather to an enemy of theirs until the men happened to come into territory they were not welcomed into. As luck would have it, karma came and bit them in the ass when they were forced to retreat, leaving the toddler Heather behind in a cabin, the commotion causing her cries of fear to be heard.

A young Viking couple found the fearful girl, gently cradling and soothing her to help her fear pass. Not finding any visible sign of who she was or where she came from, the couple named her Heather and took her in as their own daughter. The next six years couldn't have been more full of joy. Heather grew up in a small village on a small island, learning how to hunt, fish, make tools and weapons, and how to take care of the animals.

Heather was a quick learner and always seemed to have a smile on her face during this time. Unfortunately, happiness for Heather was not to last. Shortly after she turned eight, dragon hunters and trappers came to her village, demanding supplies and a place to set up as a temporary outpost. But the small village refused such demands, more than willing to fight back against such unfortunate odds, a decision that proved their undoing. But, at the behest of her parents, Heather fled the village and took a small boat on the opposite side of the island to escape, watching from a distance as the village went up in flames.

After this, Heather was left on her own for the next year, struggling to survive and carve out a life for herself using the skills she had learned. She relied on herself and became detached to survive, until she came in the care of the Wing Maiden's who she stumbled upon by accident. The Maidens gave Heather a place to stay to recover and figure out what she wanted to do. But in so doing, she was there to witness the hatching of the next batch of Razorwhips, watching in awe as the new hatchlings emerged from their eggs and waddled around. This was where Heather met her future dragon, Windshear, who flopped at her feet and gently squawked at her.

Smiling, Heather took the baby dragon into her arms, unknowingly forming the start of a strong bond. Shortly after this, the leader of the Wing Maidens offered Heather a chance to become a Maiden herself, which she enthusiastically accepted. Here, she would spend the next five years training as a Wing Maiden, forming a deep bond with Windshear to the point even after she could be let go, the Razorwhip remained. And after sometime, Heather respectfully decided to leave the Maidens to see what more lied beyond the islands, being granted a blessing to travel with Windshear and eventually finding her way elsewhere across the Archipelago.

[Temperment]
Windshear shares an attitude very much like her rider's. She is both a kind dragon but also rather serious, sharing Heather's dual spectrum of being able to be kind hearted and compassionate but also fierce and untrusting. She is highly protective, especially of Heather, and will not hesitate to jump into action, being somewhat brash but is ruthless. Both her and Heather are quite independent but even Windshear seems to have a calmer persona than her rider sometimes does.

[Backstory]
Windshear first met Heather during a time of a new batch of eggs were hatching on Wing Maiden Island. Instead of going right to one of the maidens, she came right to Heather, who then picked her up. Ever since, their bond has been unbreakable and despite being strong enough Windshear has never left Heather's side or gone far. Thus, she has been raised by Heather since she was a hatchling and has since began traveling with the young Viking.
