[Personality]

Henretta, aka Henry, is very sensitive to new areas despite being adaptable. Her endless optimism and reckless yet fun-loving nature often gets her into danger or finding herself basking in the rewards of glory. It's a 50/50 shot honestly. To this young woman, that's a pretty great chance. Everything happens for a reason and Henretta enjoys uplifting any who dare to call her friend with her odd quirks and zany personality. 

Push aside her outgoing and fearless demander and you get a much more hostile side. Betray Henry, hurt her, or someone she cares about, and you will suffer the wrath of damnation. She doesn't forgive easily, and she doesn't take 'sorry' from anyone other than her closest friends. She's violent, and wouldn't hesitate to kill someone would it come to it. She's protective and possessive, and sometimes just downright scary. 

As for everything else mixed in with her body language, Henretta had no sense of personal space and enjoys closely observing new people to get a read on them. She's good at reading things but doesn't always care to act on the emotions of other people, considering she can be selfish at times. More often than not, she puts others before herself, especially the life of dragons and friends. 

[Backstory]

Henretta's parents were in a traveling tribe that stopped on Berk when she was five, her tribe didn't care for dragons but little Henretta adored them. Her dragon, Gummy, was just a hatchling when she came across him on Berk. She fell in love instantly, and Gummy traveled the island of Berk with her until her tribe felt it was time to move on. Henretta refused to board the ship, as if she left with her family then she would have to abandon her beloved Gummy.



At just the age of five she devised a plan to remain on berk, and as her tribe's ships set sail she escaped and made her way back to Berk. Afraid the chief would send her back, she remained hidden on the far side of the island and lived with Gummy and other dragons, until she was discovered at the age of eleven, and was allowed to become a citizen after she proved she could work.


Unknown to Henry, her parents did come looking for her, but once turning around to come to find their daughter they were lost in a storm, and found by raiders that took over their ships. The goggles she wears are her only memento to her family, which she unknowingly played a part in their deaths to.

[Temperment]
Gummy is much like his rider, optimistic and enjoying some reckless fun... though his rider is often too reckless, and Gummy will have to come to his rider's rescue. He's relaxed when they're not in flight, very little phases this dragon (kids playing on him, other dragons, etc)

[Backstory]
Gummy was born in a nest in the wild on the far side of the island of Berk when Henretta was five years old. The young woman had wandered into his nest while getting lost in one of her adventures and while the dragon's parents were out hunting. Henretta was the first thing Gummy saw. It was love at first sight. While Gummy's parents were surprised to find two babies in their nest when they returned when they saw the small human and their hatchling snuggled up together, it was no doubt that this human was of no threat to them. 

Henretta spent much of her days on the dragon's nest with Gummy, playing and telling him stories, hunting and etc, until the day the young girl left her family, and together they watched her parent's boats sail past the horizen. She lived with Gummy and his family since then, hunting and fishing and living like a dragon until the discovery by Berk hunters, who offered to take her and the dragon to the tribe.
