[Personality]
Resourceful, stubborn, foolhardy, intelligent, sarcastic all words at home when describing the heir to Berk's leadership. Hiccup is a mixed bag of one part determination and two parts ingenuity, he always looks at the world through a different lens from everyone else, and tends to walk to the beat of his own drums.

While he's more than thankful for the outcome of his efforts, there is a part of him that almost regrets putting himself in the limelight, after spending so long doing everything wrong, he's not quite used to people listening when he speaks, and sometimes reads surprise when his ideas are taken into consideration.

Being more social, more accepted, is an adjustment process for the teen, and while he's thankful for the friends he's made, he's also still somewhat unsure and unused to NOT being the butt of their jeers, this is as much true for the rest of the village as it is for the riders he calls his friends.

Hiccup is more surefooted than he believes himself to be though(not so much literally, as adjusting to his prosthetic is a learning process all its own), he is determined to make this work, despite all of the challenges that Berk is now facing, he's determined to make this work, no matter what it takes.
