He tailed them for a minute or two until they'd gotten far away from his territory, then snorted and turned to go back to his cave and nurse his aching head and sore muscles. Even such a short fight like that had taken some energy out of him. As he curled up on the cold ground, he tensed at the thought of the human's return. Hopefully, he'd scared the boy off for good. Hopefully.
